Retail to Residential


Home Delivery Schedule Arrangement

 

  • Please use our schedule application or call us at 201-345-3222 to schedule your delivery. Also you can send us an email at info@metrolastmile.com with your desired delivery  schedule.  We will come back to you with a confirmation.

  • We require that someone 18 years or older be at home to accept your delivery.

  • Please ensure that the area where you want the merchandise placed is clear. Our delivery team cannot move or remove your own household goods.

 

Merchandise Pick-Up from Retail Stores (Available Manhattan and North New Jersey)
 

Prior to pick-up your merchandise from the retail store, please make sure of following:
 

  • Please make full payment on your order prior to schedule your delivery arrangement

  • Please make sure to inform the retail stores that “Metro Last Mile Transport” will pick-up the merchandise and make sure to indicate “Metro Last Mile Transport” in your sales order for pick-up.

 

     o For Sears, please complete the process of “someone else will pick-up my order” thru Sears sales representative or during your online check-out.

     o For BestBuy, please request for “someone else to pick it up” and select option during checkout.

     o For Home Depot, please provide our company name, Metro Last Mile Transport and email address: info@metrolastmile.com  for designated pick-up request.

     o For any other retail stores, please request for In Store Pick-up request and please call us for booking.

 

  • In case a copy of sales order is required for pick-up, please email us a copy of sales order via schedule app or email to: info@metrolastmile.com

  • We only inspect outside of the merchandise prior to loading for any damages or irregularities. Any irregularities with your merchandise, we will call you immediately.

  • Oversize shipment (combined weigh over 200 pounds and length larger than 84 inches) that requires special handling, please request for Retail 2 Residential Oversize.


Scope of delivery services

 

  • Pick-up from your retailer store

  • Deliver your item to the designated location inside the house

  • Remove packing materials from the delivery premise​​​​​​​​​

 

Scope of delivery services not include

  • Assembly or Set-up services

  • Relocate old item to other room or different address

  • Perform carpentry, plumbing and electrical work

  • Return services 


Residential to Domestics and International​

 

Prior to pick-up your merchandise from your home, please make sure to pack properly.  If you require packing and crating services on-site or at our company, you can arrange thru our customer service desk.

 

We are not a moving company, however we can arrange your small moving items to 48 U.S. States and worldwide with proper packing and crating.  Our cost is competitive compare to those moving companies. Additional charges apply for packing and crating services.

Free Senior Assistance Program

 

Our volunteer staffs are willing to help with local delivery services for senior citizens on every Saturday from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.  This program is currently available in North New Jersey at this time. For further information, please send us  information at info@metrolastmile.com.
